Cycle of Peace brings together individuals, families and friends to cycle and raise awareness on the lives of the terminally ill in our community, while raising funds to support the work of Ambulance Wish Singapore (AWS).
This year will see the third iteration of Cycle of Peace. Similar to the first two iterations, the primary campaign is a virtual cycling challenge, which will take place from 5 Aug to 4 Oct 2024. The highlight of Cycle of Peace 2024 is Singapore’s 1st Charity Car Park Race on 29 Sep 2024.
Raising funds through Cycle of Peace will help AWS reach out to more patients and continue to fulfil its mission to create positive end-of-life experiences by granting wishes of the terminally ill.
The act of wish granting is deeply meaningful and transformational, especially to the terminally ill. It creates good memories and brings cheer and hope to what may be a painful and lonely journey.
With your support, we can redefine the end-of-life experiences for the terminally ill.
Participants may sign up as an individual or as a team. Registration is free but participants will need to raise or donate at least $1001 to qualify for the leaderboard and a goody bag2. Participants can cycle any distance of their choice in their own time. They are encouraged to fundraise for Ambulance Wish Singapore, and refer their family and friends to also sign up for the virtual cycling challenge and donate. Top fundraisers and referrers stand to win attractive prizes.
